Weavers are abundant in nature.  From the orb spider to the bower bird, from the robin to the osprey, animals and insects know how to weave.  Weese+Design interprets our nature-inspired custom rugs by collaborating with Tibetan weavers, some of the finest weavers in the entire world.

Bower Bird Nest – An Inspiration for Our Custom Rugs

At Weese+Design, we craft custom rugs utilizing patterns found in nature.  Inspired by the bower bird and the garden that the bird has created, designer Marcia Weese patterned our new Flora Collection after authentic experiences in the garden.

Tibetan Custom Rugs Inspired by The Orb Weaver

The orb weaver sets its web between two objects.  The more flexible the grass, reed, plant, tree is, the more the web bends in the wind.  This flexibility protects the spider’s net from being torn in the storm.
